Oral HSV1 vs HSV2?

What are the symptoms for both? Cold sores that appear on the lips – Soar throat?? And can I get contracted if I kiss my girlfriend and she has either type?
Whats the difference thought?? oral hsv1 vs oral hsv1… I mean kissing her lips not vagina.

    yes you can get it from kissing or giving oral to someone who has it down there….and yes cold sores is the nicer way to say it but it is the same thing
