I have HSV1 genitally but what about oral sex?

I have HSV1 genitally and I am currently healing from an outbreak. Can I give my partner oral since my HSV1 on my genitals only OR can I still pass the HSV1 through my salivia since it is the oral strand. I have refrained from ANY contact with him until I know for sure. This is my second outbreak in 3 years, it started LAST Saturday and I have taken my three day Valtrex. As I said I am healing, and know that I can’t have sex for 3-4 weeks…but I am unsure about oral.
