How do you protect a partner from catching hsv1 genitally from you? Is the prevention methods the same as hsv1?

    Yes you can still get pregnant, herpes doesn’t usually do any thing to your reproductive system or your fertility. I have herpes and have been pregnant 4 times, but miscarried all of them due to other fertility issues, I have a chromosome defect which prevents me from carrying my own children. All you have to do is find a partner that can accept and love you no matter what.
    HSV1 genitally can be less sever to have then HSV2 genitally. To help protect your partner; avoid oral sex and intercourse when you have a break out, take antiviral medication regularly, use condoms in between break outs and stay faith full to your partner. When you do all of that you can reduce your partners chances of getting herpes to about 1 percent per year.
